Refreshed brand for insurance brokerage
15 year old insurance brokerage needed to an updated brand to help support their growth and increase brand awareness. The company wanted to keep it’s core essence but build and expand upon it by creating consistent brand guidelines, refreshed look and feel and updated collateral. The process also required navigating complex approvals through executive leadership and corporate service groups – Human Resources, Information Technology and Legal.
Developed an extensive brand guide replacing a dated 3-page Design Cheat Sheet booklet. A streamlined color palette, type treatments, custom imagery and new templates helped create a unique and ownable brand. We improved the quality and compliance of marketing collateral by developing smart templates using built-in column/row layouts, typography styles, color palettes and required legal information.
Adoption was drove by rolling out a new section of the company intranet called Brand Elements – which housed the updated templates available to the 2,600+ employees of the company. The Marketing & Communications and partner teams were provided robust training with recorded real-time video walk-throughs, the 55-page Brand Guidelines book and an organized cloud drive of templates.
